This is the first year that we are going to have the Fireworks Downtown. South Street will be closed from Springfield Avenue to Gales Drive, so you can bring chairs and sit anywhere on the street.

Summer Hours at Municipal Center
Summer Hours - Borough Offices will close at 1 PM on Fridays through September 4. From Monday-Thursday, the offices are open 8:30 AM-4:30 PM.
Jersey Fresh Farmers Market Returns!
The New Providence Farmers Market will open on Wednesday, June 17 and be open each Wednesday, 1 – 6 PM, rain or shine, through October 28. The market is located on Elkwood Avenue in the New Providence Municipal Center front parking lot. The market offers fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, baked goods, olive oil, fresh mozzarella cheese, crab cakes, pickles, olives, and more!
2008 Property Tax Reimbursement Deadline
The deadline to file your 2008 Property Tax Reimbursement application has been extended to August 17, 2009.
SUMMER CONCERT SERIES - July & August 2009
"A Night Under the Stars" Summer Concert Series is back this summer on Thursday nights from July 9 - August 6 at Centennial Park. A kids show will start at 6:15 PM, followed by the featured concert at 7:30 PM.

The State of NJ has again approved funding for the Property Tax Reimbursement Program (a.k.a. property tax freeze program). This program was first made available in 1998. This program reimburses qualified applicants for the property tax increases they incur each year.

Parking Cards Available
The Borough Clerk's office sells "Smart Cards" in increments of $100.00. These cards are used at the parking pay box at Murray Hill Train Station. Parking is $5.00 a day.
