Board of Health

The Board of Health is responsible for assessing the status of public health in the community, developing policies to address public health needs and assuring that these needs are met.  The Board of Health is also responsible for inspecting and issuing permits to food vendors and establishments, community pools, and other businesses. In addition to numerous health services provided through the Public Health Nurse, the board runs a free rabies clinic every January to immunize dogs and cats.
