The New Providence Police Department is accepting applications for 911 Telecommunications Operators.Applications will be available beginning Monday, January 28, 2013 and must be returned no later than Monday February 18, 2013
at 0800 hours. Interested parties can pick up applications at the New Providence Police Department, 360 Elkwood Avenue, New
Providence, New Jersey.Applicants will be required to submit to a testing procedure, thorough police background check, which will include criminal history,
motor vehicle violations, previous jobs, and personal and professional references. Successful candidates passing the first phase
will be subject to oral interviews.The candidate(s) offered a conditional offer of employment will be required to pass a Medical Examination, Psychological Evaluation,
and Drug Screening.All applicants MUST be at least 18 years of age, of good moral character, physically qualified to perform duties and a Citizen of the
United States of America.
