Summer 2015

Registration will begin online for all of our summer programs on March 10, 2015 at 10:00am.  Please see a copy of the 2015 Summer Guide here.

Summer Enrichment Academy courses are offered in conjunction with the New Providence Board of Education and taught by district teachers.  We have some great new courses this year in addition to our popular Music and Art classes.  The brochure can be found here.

Spring Adult Classes

Registration is open for the 2015 Spring Adult Session which runs from April 6-June 12, 2015.  Great way to start getting in shape for the summer!  Click here for the flyer with class descriptions and schedule.

"After Hours"

"After Hours" are monthly social evenings for New Providence 50+ Adults sponsored by the New Providence Community Activities Department.  The next event will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 7:00-9:30PM at the DeCorso Community Center, 15 East 4th Street.  Please check back for details.

New Providence Tennis Courts Lights & Permits

Enjoy tennis under the lights!  From June 21-September 1, the tennis courts lights will be on from dusk until 10PM daily.  Permit holders get priority court usage at all times and may make one-hour reservations from 6-10PM.  See the flyer for permit details and registration information.

NJ Sharing Network 5K Walk/Run:  Sunday, June 7 at 9:00AM.  Sponsored by NJ sharing Network & NP Business & Professional Association (NPBPA).

Farmers MarketThe New Providence Farmer's Market will run every Wednesday from June 10th through October 28th at the New Providence Presbyterian Church on Springfield Avenue - 12:00pm-6:00pm.

Independence Day Celebration:  Friday, July 3 at 9:30PM.  Sponsored by NP Business & Professional Association (NPBPA).

NP Recreation Introduces Background Check Policy for Volunteer Coaches

NP Recreation coaches, assistant coaches and parent helpers are required to complete a Background Check.  This program is mandatory and free of cost to volunteers.  Please visit www.leaguelineup.com/newprovbasketball and click on COACHES INFO for more information.
