2017 Holiday Festival Event

The all new 2017 Holiday Festival, featuring the Christmas Walk, International Celebrations, and fireworks, kicks off Friday, Nov. 24 on South Street and continues on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 25

The annual Christmas Walk, an evening gathering traditionally held on the Friday after Thanksgiving in the downtown area, will be part of the even bigger and better Holiday Festival in 2017.  The festival will feature the NP Marching Band and the arrival of Santa; various customs and celebrations from around the world; and Friday night fireworks sponsored by NP Fuel!  The event continues the next day with offers and activities on Small Business Saturday.  This huge event will take place in downtown New Providence and will offer treats, activities, entertainment, raffles, giveaways, and more:

The event takes place downtown from 5 – 8 PM on Fri., Nov. 24.  South Street, portions of the Village Shopping Center parking lot, and Adams Shopping Center parking lot will close at 4 PM on Fri., Nov. 24.  Additional parking will be available at the Community Pool parking lot.

Come visit Santa and your favorite New Providence shops on Sat., Nov. 25, Small Business Saturday, when you’ll also have a chance to win gift baskets or a grand prize!

Event Timeline:

Friday, Nov. 24:

4 PM – South Street, Adams Shopping Center front parking lot, parts of Village Shopping Center close

5 PM – Explore the International Tents and enjoy all the activities throughout the downtown

6 PM – Santa Arrives at Provident Bank with Fire Department and NP Marching Band

8 PM – Fantastic fireworks sponsored by NP Fuel wrap up the Friday night festivities
