New Providence Wins Public Information Contest Third Year in a Row

For the third year in a row, the Borough of New Providence received statewide recognition in the Annual Municipal Public Information Contest, sponsored by Rutgers Center for Government Services (CGS), the New Jersey State League of Municipalities, and the New Jersey Municipal Management Association.  This year the borough was awarded Best Visual Media.  The entries were evaluated on the clarity, quality and completeness of the information provided. Awards were given for three classes of towns, based on population.  New Providence won for Class B towns, which have populations between 5,000 and 20,000. The award was presented in November, 2018 at the Annual New Jersey State League of Municipalities Conference in Atlantic City.
