New Providence Public Safety Officials Urge All Residents to Sign Up For the Free Smart 911 Service that Provides Emergency Responders With Key Information and Also Sends Emergency Notifications
Through one easy sign up process, residents can share important information with 9-1-1 responders and also receive timely emergency and community alerts. The borough will no longer be using the Code Red system to send emergency alerts and will instead send them through Smart 911. As of October 13, 2019, Code Red will no longer be operable for our residents.
Residents must register by October 1, 2019 to receive Smart 911 emergency alerts even if you had previously registered with Code Red. Your personal contact information will not transfer to Smart 911.
