Executive Order Update – April 14, 2020

Wearing face coverings is required, and will be enforced, to be worn in all open retail establishments and on all NJ Transit vehicles. YOU SHOULD ONLY BE USING NJ TRANSIT SERVICES FOR ESSENTIAL TRAVEL ONLY. For more information on Governor Murphy’s Executive Order 125 please visit https://nj.gov/governor/news/news/562020/approved/20200411b.shtml

CDC also recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain especially in areas of significant community-based transmission. Cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children under age 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove their mask without assistance. For more information, and for information about correctly wearing face coverings, please visit https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/diy-cloth-face-coverings.html

Please continue to shelter in. No non-essential outings or gatherings. Maintain all social distancing protocols, continue to vigorously wash hands often, and sanitize surfaces. Please continue to check in on each other, especially our vulnerable and our seniors. We will get through this together.

Be smart. Stay safe. Keep positive and stay strong!
