Today six new cases were reported to us. It is so important to continue to follow ALL protocols so we can help keep everyone safe. Please continue to shelter in, only essential outings, and if out, social distancing is required and will be enforced. No gatherings. No get togethers. No organized sports. No visiting. Parents, please do not permit your children and teens to play with others who do not live in your home outside or at each other’s homes or yards. Please NO play dates. The State has NOT relaxed any of our sheltering in protocols. Please enjoy the outdoors, but please do so responsibly and socially distanced. We are not out of the woods yet. Please mask when essentially out and social distancing is difficult, at ALL open retail establishments and on all NJ Transit. This will be enforced.

Please continue to keep our lost, afflicted, and their families in your thoughts and prayers. Please put a light in your window to help light up our nights in support, remembrance, and in solidarity in our fight against COVID-19. We will continue to keep you updated as we receive confirmed information.

Census 2020:

Please help our community receive federal funding we need for the next 10 years by taking 10 minutes to complete your 2020 Census. Hospitals, schools, roads, transportation and more all receive the federal funding based on Census data. The U.S. Census Bureau continues to carefully monitor the coronavirus situation and follows the guidance of federal, state, and local health authorities. Help us adhere to social-distancing guidelines by responding online to the 2020 Census. Do your part. Stay home. Get counted. We are counting on you! You can RESPOND ONLINE, BY PHONE, OR BY MAIL, all without leaving the safety of your own home.  Additional information can be found on the CENSUS 2020  page:

We were sad to learn the Catholic Archdiocese has decided to officially close the school at Our Lady of Peace here in New Providence. It is an end of an era. We thank Father Bill, Joel Castilli, all the good teachers, staff, and AOLP community for their many years of memories, education, and good service to our community.

Please keep safe, stay strong, check in on one another, and keep positive. We will get through this together. Pioneer Strong!
