NPCOVID19 11/10/20 Update from Mayor Al Morgan:

We have 5 more new COVID-19 cases in New Providence reported to us from the Board of Health. This report includes the three cases communicated to the schools by the New Providence Board of Education. One case has resolved leaving 16 current active cases in the Borough, all non-LTC. There are currently no LTC cases. Contact tracing has been completed on all five of these new cases. We wish all a speedy recovery!

Cases are continuing to rise here in New Providence, in our surrounding communities, and across the state. This virus is very contagious. If you have ANY symptoms, or just not feeling well, please self isolate, call your doctor, and get tested. Please be sure to take the call if the Public Health Nurse contacts you. Please continue to be vigilant and please talk with your children and families about taking extra precautions. Please wear a mask, socially distance, wash hands thoroughly and often, sanitize surfaces, and follow all CDC safety protocols outlined here:

We will continue to keep you updated as we receive confirmed information.

Additional resources and information are available to our residents on the New Jersey COVID-19 Information Hub at https://covid19.nj.gov/, and on our website under the COVID-19 tab at https://www.newprov.org/information-and-resources/
