NPCOVID19 11/12/20 Evening Update from Mayor Al Morgan

We have 1 new COVID-19 case in New Providence reported to us from the Board of Health. We currently have 24 total active cases in the Borough, all non-LTC. There are currently no LTC cases, and thankfully no new deaths. We wish all a speedy recovery! Please continue to keep our lost, afflicted, and their families in your thoughts and prayers.

Cases are continuing to rise in New Providence, in our surrounding communities, across the county, and across the state. Governor Murphy is urging all residents to avoid all non-essential interstate travel. Please stay at home and self isolate if you are not feeling well and get tested, wear a mask, socially distance, wash hands often and thoroughly, and continue to sanitize surfaces. Please answer the call if the Public Health Nurse contacts you. Please follow all CDC safety protocols outlined here:

We will continue to keep you updated as we receive confirmed information.
