The cases in New Providence and our surrounding communities are continuing to climb. The Westfield Department of Health is keeping a close eye on the cases in their jurisdiction and urge people that are not feeling well to stay home, self-isolate and get tested. The Kean University testing site is open Mon/Wed/Fri from 9am-4pm by appointment through https://ucnj.org/covid19/testing/drive-in-kean-location/ or by calling 908-518-4307. This site is administering a 3-in-1 test that screens for COVID-19, Flu-A and Flu-B.
Please follow all CDC safety protocols outlined here:

“This Thanksgiving Stay Safe”
- Celebrate Thanksgiving with members of your own household only
- If you do gather with other households, keep plans as small as possible
- College students returning home should quarantine for 14 days before interacting with family members and should consider getting tested before leaving campus
- Families are discouraged from taking residents out of long-term care facilities for holiday celebrations
Additional tips, resources and more information are available on the New Jersey COVID-19 Information Hub at https://covid19.nj.gov/, and on our borough website under the COVID-19 tab at https://www.newprov.org/information-and-resources/
Please be safe, keep well, and stay strong. We will get through this. Pioneer Strong! Enjoy the weekend! The weather forecast looks great! Try to get outdoors if you can, take in some fresh air and vitamin D!
