NPCOVID19 12/01/20 Tuesday Update from Mayor Al Morgan

There were no new cases reported to us yesterday (likely due to Thanksgiving Day). Tonight we have 5  new cases in our community (all non-LTC) reported to us from the Board of Health, and 10 recovered, bringing our total down to 31 active cases in New Providence. Here is a breakdown of our current cases:

– 3 new adult cases

– 2 new child cases (not in school)

– 10 recovered

There are currently no Long Term Care (LTC) cases in our community, and thankfully no new deaths. We wish all a speedy recovery! Please keep our lost, afflicted, their families, all of our first responders, medical personnel, and essential workers in your thoughts and prayers.

New Providence has had 104 positive COVID-19 cases since November 1st. We currently have 31 active cases.

We will continue to keep you updated as we receive confirmed information.
