We have 1 new Covid-19 case in our community reported to us from the Board of Health, and 1 new recovered. Our current total active cases in New Providence is 42 (37 non-LTC and 5 LTC).

COVID-19 TESTING:
If you are not feeling well, stay home, self isolate, call your doctor, and get tested. The only definitive way to know if you have COVID-19 is by getting tested. Testing is available at numerous local locations. Free testing is also a available to all Union County residents who wish to be tested, whether or not experiencing symptoms. It is free of charge, regardless of whether you have insurance or not. Kean University is open for testing Monday-Wednesday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm and Thursdays 9:00am-2:30pm by appointment. NJ COVID-19 Vaccine Information:
In anticipation of a COVID-19 vaccine, the NJ Department of Health is working with other state, federal, and local agencies to plan for a fast and equitable distribution of a vaccine to all New Jersey communities.
