NPCOVID19 REPORT:
We have 3 new Covid-19 cases in our community reported to us from the Board of Health, and 2 newly recovered.
Our current total active cases in New Providence is 39 non-LTC cases and 0 LTC cases.
Here is a breakdown of our current cases:

New Providence has had a total of 326 positive COVID-19 cases since October 1st:
- October – 12 Cases
- November- 99 Cases
- December – 150 Cases
- January (1st – 16th) – 65 Cases

VACCINE INFORMATION:
We completely understand the frustration with obtaining the vaccine. Hopefully the vaccine will become more readily available in the coming weeks and we will be able to get more vaccinations for our community. Union County is looking at ways to offer mobile vaccine clinics similar to the mobile testing sites they have been offering, as well as working on plans to administer to the senior population, but the county has many obstacles to overcome including the availability of the vaccine. Please rest assured that we are doing all we can to help get everyone who is eligible vaccinated as soon as possible. We are working closely with our State, County, and local officials, and with the Board of Health. We will continue to keep you updated.

DAY OF SERVICE
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. lived his life serving others. Following his example, members of the New Providence Diversity Committee (NPDC) are delivering care packages to our neighbors at the senior living facility at Barabash Manor. The packages will include face masks, hand sanitizer, snacks and other essentials. Members of the NPDC are also donating food and service to Our Lady of Peace Church Sandwich Drive.
