NPCOVID19 and Community Update Sunday 2/14/21:

I hope everyone had a nice Valentine’s Day and is enjoying the long weekend. Thank you to everyone who participated in the #nphearthunt and to the New Providence Recreation Department for organizing. We found a lot of hearts all over town and on Facebook. Thank you for sharing the love with our community.

Thank you also to the New Providence Diversity Committee for hosting such a fun and educational Chinese Lunar New Year virtual event.  Happy Year of the Ox!



We have 4 new Covid-19 cases in our community reported to us from the Board of Health, and 2 new recovered.

Our current total active cases in New Providence is 11 all non-LTC, and no LTC cases.

Here is a breakdown of our current cases:

  • 4 New Adult non-LTC Cases
  • 0 New Adult LTC Cases
  • 0 New Child Cases
  • 2 New Recovered
  • 11 Total Active Cases:
    • 11 non-LTC
    • 0 LTC

New Providence has had a total of 387 positive COVID-19 cases since October 1st:

  • October – 12 Cases
  • November- 99 Cases
  • December – 150 Cases
  • January – 110 Cases
  • February – 16 Cases
