Happy St Joseph’s Day to all who celebrate!

We thankfully have no new Covid-19 cases in our community reported to us from the Board of Health today, and thankfully 1 more new recovered. 

Our current total active cases in New Providence is 29 (27 non-LTC and 2 LTC).

We will continue to keep you updated as we receive confirmed information.

New Providence has had a total of 660 positive COVID-19 cases reported to us since the onset of the pandemic and 480 cases since the second wave, which began in October 2020. 

Here are the monthly breakdowns of positive COVID-19 cases reported to us from the Board of Health to date since the second wave:

  • October – 12 Cases
  • November- 99 Cases 
  • December – 150 Cases
  • January – 110 Cases
  • February – 53 Cases
  • March – 56 Cases
