New Providence is seeking a part-time, Electrical Inspector with a minimum of 3
years of experience preferred. Under direction of the Construction Official, duties
include field inspections and reviewing plans for new and existing buildings and
structures to ensure compliance with the State Uniform Construction Code and
enforce same to ensure public safety, health, and welfare; related work as required.
Position requires excellent customer service skills and communication skills;
knowledge of Spatial Data Logic is strongly preferred. Applicant must possess a
valid license as an Electrical Subcode Official and Electrical Inspector HHS. A
valid current N.J. driver’s license is also required. Salary is based on qualifications
