NPCOVID19 UPDATE:  Friday August 27, 2021

We have 2 new positive cases to report today (1 adult case and 1 child case) and 1 new recovered. New Providence currently has a total of 15 active Covid19 cases in our community (14 nonLTC and 1 LTC).

  • 2 New Cases:
    • 1 Adult Case
    • 1 Child Case
  • 1 Newly Recovered
  • 15 Total Current Active Cases

New Providence has had a total of 66 reported positive cases since June 1st :

  • June – 4 Cases
  • July – 12 Cases
  • Aug –  50 Cases

Breakthrough cases and the breakdown of vaccinated verses unvaccinated current positive cases has not been reported to us. The percentage of Delta Variant cases has also not been reported to us.

We are working closely with our Board of Health to put together a Town Hall meeting to answer health and COVID questions and address on-going concerns. More details will be forthcoming shortly.

We will continue to keep you updated as we receive confirmed information.
