There is currently a substantial transmission of the COVID-19 Delta Variant in Union County NJ and around the state. Governor Murphy and New Jersey Department of Health Commissioner Judy Persichilli are strongly recommending that both vaccinated and unvaccinated residents wear masks in indoor settings where there is an increased risk.

89.9% of our eligible residents 18 and over have been fully vaccinated. (Please note: We only receive the number of vaccinated, not specifically who is or is not vaccinated. Personal information is protected by HIPAA law and is not reported to us by the Board of Health). We are very strongly encouraging everyone who is eligible for a vaccine to please consider getting vaccinated. The Westfield Regional Health Department is seeing positive cases in both vaccinated and unvaccinated residents. Free COVID-19 Vaccines for Home Bound Residents:
Union County residents who are home bound or have difficulty leaving their home can call toll-free 1-833-256-2478 or email at vaccine@mmst.io to request an appointment to receive a COVID-19 vaccination at home.

Mobile Medical Services currently provides a choice of all three vaccines approved for use in the United States: Pfizer (ages 12 and older), Moderna (ages 18 and older), and Johnson & Johnson (ages 18 and older).

Seniors and residents with disabilities who have additional questions can contact the Union County Division on Aging and Disability Resources for assistance at 1-888-280-8226 during regular weekday business hours.

Union County residents who do not need a home visit can use any of the free vaccination clinics including three permanent vaccination sites and a mobile unit that comes to different municipalities on a rotating basis.
