NPCOVID19 UPDATE: Tuesday August 31, 2021

We have 4 new positive cases to report today (3 adult nonLTC cases, and 1 child case). New Providence currently has a total of 18 active Covid19 cases in our community (16 nonLTC and 2 LTC).

– 0 Newly Recovered

 

– 18 Total Current Active Cases

 

New Providence has had a total of 75 reported positive cases since June 1st :

  • June – 4 Cases
  • July – 12 Cases
  • Aug –  59 Cases

Breakthrough cases and the breakdown of vaccinated verses unvaccinated current positive cases has not been reported to us. The percentage of Delta Variant cases has also not been reported to us.

 

We are working closely with our Board of Health to put together a Town Hall meeting to answer health and COVID questions and address on-going concerns. More details will be forthcoming shortly.

Two upcoming New Providence COVID Vaccine Clinics will be available at our Municipal Center Gym 360 Elkwood Ave. No appointment is necessary. Just walk in:
