Halloween in New Providence will be celebrated on Monday October 31st. In the past couple of years due to safety concerns and the pandemic, we restricted participating households to only having a table at the end of the driveway with treats. It’s really a great tradition! However, this year, residents have the option of celebrating however they wish, either continuing this new tradition of having a table set up at the end of the driveway with treats, or can return to having participants door knocking. Please be mindful and respectful of our neighbors who choose not to participate in Halloween. If there is no table set up at the end of the driveway, no treats left out, no light on outside the house, and the door is closed, please assume the home is not participating.
Downtown Trick-or-Treating sponsored by our generous New Providence businesses is this Saturday, October 29th 1pm-3pm. Stores with orange pumpkins on their doors or in their windows will greet trick-or-treaters with candy and fun surprises.
We wish all who celebrate a fun, safe, and Happy Halloween!
