Summer Help – Department of Public Works
The Borough of New Providence is seeking motivated individuals to assist the Public Works Department over the summer. Ideal candidates are able to perform physical tasks; demonstrate initiative; are reliable and dependable; and require little supervision while adhering to standard safety procedures and COVID guidelines. A valid Driver’s License is required. Hours are 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Mon. – Fri. Salary is $14.00 per hour.

School Crossing Guard
The Borough of New Providence is currently recruiting for several school crossing guard positions in the Police Department. You can be an important member of a successful team of individuals committed to the safety of school children in your community. School Crossing Guards work approximately 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during the regular school year at designated locations in the borough assisting elementary, middle and high school students.
Bus Driver, Community Activities Department (P/T) – part-time 15-20 hour per week position, under the direction of the Community Activities Director. Follow application instructions below:
